If diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, the Diabetic Educator provide education and support for Antenatal Gestational Diabetics in managing their diabetes.
Diabetic Educator covers healthy food choices, exercise, blood glucose monitoring and insulin therapy if required.
Each patient is given a blood glucose meter (free of charge), a diary, plus Fact Sheets regarding diabetes management.
All teaching sessions held in the Learning Centre on Level 2, Entrance 2 at 10:00AM each Thursday.
